User Experience Designer

Job Description

MediaMind is seeking a User Experience Designer with a passion for making great products that are clear and easy to use. The UX Designer will lead the entire design lifecycle, from brainstorming and white board sketches to creating full working prototypes and will conduct usability testing sessions with users from our offices around the world.
Responsibilities
•Partner with Program Managers to understand the goals of our users and create designs that uphold their needs and ensure the designs clearly support business objectives
•Innovate and bring new ideas for screen layouts, interactions, and workflows using sketches, whiteboards, and prototypes.
•Lead rapid iterations of usability testing on a variety of ideas using full working interactive prototypes
•Stay ahead of the curve in technological advances and UI practices and trends

Requirements

•Great personality, communication skills, empathy for users and a passion for good design
•2 years of experience designing interactive web applications/sites/software
•Good knowledge of user-centered design/usability principles and methodologies
•Experience creating sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.
•Must demonstrate an excellent understanding of composition, color, page layout and typography. Visual design skills- a plus.
•Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
•Must be able to multitask and prioritize
•Highly organized, accurate and detail oriented
•Online portfolio or examples of work required
•Very good English (spoken and written)
